Hello & welcome to my blog. I’m glad you took time to stop in!
I’m Kris Jamieson, Virtual Assistant & Owner of Resourcefully Yours. I post bits of information (mostly my opinion) from time to time. Some of it will be useful, some of it perhaps not. BUT, all of it is given to you to do with it what you will. Enjoy and stop back again – well, you know, if you want to.
Hi. How’s it going? I hope your summer was fabulous and your autumn is looking the same.
We just observed the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11th. It was so moving to watch the TV coverage of the families of the victims seeing the memorial at the Twin Towers for the first time. The pain they continue to experience absolutely breaks my heart. If you know me at all, you know I was a puddle.

The folks at Folgers would say their coffee (and I so love it). As far as I’m concerned, one of the best things in life – not just waking up – is coffee. However, I’m thinking there’s something more. I’m thinking of opportunity in life.

Hey! How’s it going? I hope all is well and that you had a great July 4th holiday. It’s one of my favorites because it’s in the summer, and reminds me that I am free. Within reason, I’m free to do what I want to, worship as I choose, go where I want to and say whatever I want to.
Not everyone has the freedoms we enjoy in the USA – which is why I’m so grateful to be here. I realize there are things happening in our country that are horrible, but I think we need to see the big picture and keep it all in perspective.

Hello! I hope all is well in your world and that you’re enjoying spring. Summer? It’s hard to tell here in Minnesota – our weather has been so crazy lately.
Now, a few words about networking. It’s not only an excellent way to grow your business, but it can be fun – if you make it that way. Networking has been the number one way that I’ve grown my business. Why? Because it’s fun for me – so I’ve been consistent with it.

Hi ya! I hope you are doing well, and that tax season was kind to you. Speaking of that, we’re in some pretty taxing times right now. From the economy, to war, to natural disasters, and winter not wanting to leave, it’s tough out there. Almost everyone I talk to has been negatively affected in some way. If you don’t know firsthand, I can tell you that running a business right now is certainly not easy.

Hi. How’s it going? I’m often asked what it’s like to be a Virtual Assistant (VA), and how I help my clients market their businesses. The most common question is, “How does that virtual thing work, anyway?” Because I love what I do, these are easy questions to answer.

Hey. How’s it goin? I’ve had some recent changes in my life, which started my thought process going. About change. It can be a good thing or not so much, depending on your point of view. Sometimes change is planned, and at other times it’s like a brick out of the sky. You may be one of those who welcomes change with open arms. Or, you might run from it because things are ‘just fine the way they are’. Change means different things to different people. However, one thing remains the same for everyone……change happens.

OK, is it me, or are you hearing a ticking sound too?……. I can’t believe 2010 is coming to a close in a matter of hours. It seems like we just determined whether it was ‘twenty ten’ or ‘two thousand & ten’, and now it’s over.
What will 2011 bring for you? How will you say THIS one? I digress. Are you planning something big for the new year? Will you be spending time with the ones who mean the most to you?
I’m busy planning new things for Resourcefully Yours. I’m so grateful for this business, and I look forward to making new things happen, meeting new people, helping more clients, and learning new things.
It’s almost 2011. I wish you opportunities, fun, laughter, love and peace. Happy New Year.

I had a blast doing an interview on The Peter McClellan Show on 12/3/10.
Thank you so much, Peter, for inviting me to be on your show!
